I love all things celestial and was very excited when Louanne wanted something of that nature for her metamorphosis jewellery!
Louanne and her late mum shared a love for the moon and stars. When I found the mother of pearl with two-faces, one looking older and wiser and the other young and cheeky, it reminded me of a mother-daughter relationship and I just knew it was the perfect stone for this piece!
The diamonds represent a compass with the biggest diamond set at north to represent the north star: a guiding light and a symbol of good luck.
On the other side of the pendant, I carved out a crescent moon and stars for an added touch which makes the pendant reversible!
The moon is a special talisman for many, but for Louanne, it’s extra special and I’m so glad I got to make this pendant for her that reminds her of her mum!
