Another year, another crawl! It’s my 8th year participating in the New Westminster Cultural Crawl and I’m always so amazed at how quickly they sneak up on me!
Important announcement: I’ll be taking a break from the crawl for 2027. I’m telling you this now so you can plan. I attend the Eastside Crawl every year and I always run out of time to see all of the artists I wanted to see. I make a note to catch them first the following year BUT not all artists participate in the crawl every year. So, if you want to see me and my one of a kind jewellery collection, this is your chance!
Every year I make a one of a kind sterling silver jewellery collection for the crawl. This is the only time I make silver jewellery to sell. This year’s theme is special because it’s my last until I pick a new adventure. I’ve grown a lot as an artist during my time participating in the New West crawl so it felt right to have New West be my muse for this year’s collection. And honestly, I don’t think you have to be from New West to appreciate the collection: it’s really an ode to any city where layers of history live alongside an ever-changing urban landscape.
Another important change for this year’s crawl: I am only taking 4 custom appointments for custom jewellery. NO repair appointments available this year. AND there will be a $50 deposit required to book an appointment. That deposit will go toward your custom jewellery order. Every year I cram as many appointments in as I can and then it gets too busy to attend both clients who booked appointments and those visiting me for the crawl.
